The Lock & Editions

In the Safe Edition, no — you only hand over a guest username in your smart-lock app and keep the master login, so you can release yourself any second. In the Real Edition you give true keyholding, but a mandatory emergency release (sealed spare key or bolt cutters within reach) is always required. See Editions.
Permanent means continuous wear with approved releases decided by your Mistress. Session-based means defined windows — an evening, a weekend — that you unlock at the end. You declare your preference in the application and can adjust it any time by mutual consent.
